End mills & drill bits
Used extensively in CNC machining, milling, and drilling operations across precision engineering. We purchased scrap carbide end mills, worn tungsten carbide drill bits and many other spent cutting tools that need to be recycled in the UK.
Tips & indexable inserts
With multiple cutting edges per insert, carbide inserts offer excellent tool life, but once all the edges are spent carbide inserts are typically discarded. We process lathe tooling scrap, spent turning inserts as even as scrap carbide inserts still contain significant recoverable tungsten carbide.
Carbide wear parts
Tungsten carbide wear parts are engineered to outlast conventional materials in the most demanding industrial environments. Dies, punches, nibs and nozzles in high-volume manufacturing, to Morgan Rolls in heavy industry. Carbide wear parts retain a high tungsten content and significant scrap value long after they’ve reached the end of their service life.
Carbide off cuts
Production offcuts are an unavoidable byproduct – but they don’t have to be a write-off. Rejected blanks, seconds, trimmed material and quality control failiures retain the same high tungsten carbide content as the finished product, making them some of the most valuable scrap we buy.
Carbide tipped tool steel
Carbide tipped saw blades, lathe tools and boring bars requires processing to separate the steel elements but we purchase brazed tool steel in any quantity. Redundant stock from tooling room upgrades and inventory clear outs we make the process straightforward.
